Ford GT40
The original Ford GT40 was Ford's reaction to Enzo Ferrari's change of heart about selling his company to the Americans. Very annoyed, Ford decided to teach Ferrari, who were dominating the Le Mans 24hrs at the time, a lesson by taking there endurance racing crown. It took a while, but Ford succeeded and the GT40 won Le Mans three times.
Only 105 were ever made and are now very rare. There are companies making continuation versions which faithfully follow the initial design. This is one of those, and in many ways, it's just the same as the original.
